Minifigures (Dino Island Only)[]
Good[]
Johnny Thunder is the star of the Adventurers Theme and Dino Island. Mike is a young friend of Johnny Thunder who helps him out on Dino Island. Pippin Reed is the female companion of Johnny Thunder. Pippin is the globe-trotting reporter for the international publication, "World Magazine". Headstrong and sometime argumentive (she doesn't like men telling her what to do just
because she is female), she sometimes puts herself in danger...but she has plenty of courage and smarts to get herself out of danger
too! Professor or Dr. Kilroy is a famous archaeologist and an expert on everything from ancient cultures to dinosaurs. Although he is getting along in years, Dr. Kilroy is willing to follow any adventure, no matter how dangerous or where it may lead. His intellect solves as many riddles as Johnny's bravery and physical strength.
Evil[]
Mr. Cunningham is a poacher hired by Sam Sinister, Alexia Sinister's brother. Alexia Sinister is the brother of Sam Sinister, the evil person in the Adventurers Theme. Lord Sam Sinister, (formerly known as Baron Von Baron/Barron, Sam Sanister/Sinister, Evil Eye and Mr. Hates) was the main villain from the Adventurers and Orient Expidition Themes. He has a hook in place of his left hand, a pith hat (replaced by a top hat in 2003), a monocle or eyeglass, and a mustache (with small, pointed goatee in 2003), along with a scar on his left cheek. He generally wears a tan shirt, which slightly resembles Johhny Thunder's. Occasionally, Sinister wears a black version of said shirt, with a white scarf sporting around his neck. Sinister competes with Johnny Thunder in all of the Adventurers sub-themes (except for the 1999 theme), for ancient artifacts and treasures from around the world.
